Happy Birthday Dad!!!

Happy Birthday! We hope you had a wonderful birthday! I am lucky to have such a great husband and best friend and the boys are lucky to have the best father! Thank you for all you do for us everyday! We love you so much!

Nolan's Class

Nolan was so excited to introduce Charles to his class! He asked me everyday to bring Charles in, so one of the last days we brought in his baby brother to meet some of his friends and teachers! In the center Mrs. Simmerson his teacher is holding Charles! He has a bit of a crush on his preschool teacher!

Go daddy go!!!

Daddy ran in the Dexter Ann Arbor 1/2 marathon as training for his Half Ironman! Davis, Charles, and I had fun waiting for him to cross the finish line!!! Daddy and Brandon are getting ready for the Vineman Half Ironman which is coming up mid July! Many of you know how much training and time Jason has put into the Half Ironman. He has been training 4-5 times a week. A few short workouts and one 3 hour workout on the weekend! We are all excited for the race and to celebrate with dad when he is finished! We will keep you posted as the race gets closer! We are all so proud of you and your commitment.

Davis was all smiles with dads medal around his neck!

Friends

We were lucky enough to have our friends come over to play and have dinner! It was a busy but fun night! Between 3 moms we have 6 toddlers 2 babies and 1 on the way!

Starting with Davis, Sam, Benjamin, Luke, Nolan, and Grace. (baby Charli was in her car seat)

First Trip

Behind on the blog is an understatement. I will do my best to keep up and post more often! So lets get started...here come the posts!

When Charles was 2 weeks old we took our first trip up north to Burt Lake. It went much better than we all expected! Charles slept a lot so that helped.

Charles is named after 2 influential men. We hope Charles can grow up and know what strong men inside and out he is named after. Charles comes from a great family friend of my Muggy's for over 70 years! (Charles Murray) He has been a role model to us all but especially Jason as a fishing guide and companion for the past 10 years.
His middle name Woodward comes from the last name of a man Dick Woodward who was a grandfather figure to Jason for many years. Dick showed/taught Jason all about walleye fishing on Lake Leelanau.
