So Fun!!!

We had a Halloween play date this week. It was lots of fun. Nolan keeps asking when all his friends are coming over again! Thanks to all the moms who helped with everything and for coming. We will see you all again soon!

Trying to get a picture of all the wild ones was a joke! Here are a few tries. (Lily, McKenna, Nolan, Abby, Grace, Gavin, Cole, Lucy, Ella, and Davis) Eric already escaped the picture.

Sleepy Howell

This weekend was fast and fun. Mom and dad enjoyed a night away to Chicago!!! It was so fun and relaxing to be kid less for a few days! We enjoyed shopping, eating, and sleeping(uninterrupted)! (Thanks Mamae & Papa D for keeping the wild ones!)

The boys are doing great and growing way too fast! They are keeping us busy. Nolan is talking so much. He picks up new words all the time. Davis is super happy and feeling great since his tube surgery. Enjoy the pictures!

Davis our 26 pound lobster. (8 months)

Nolan, Davis, and their friend Julius (a monkey). (It is a challenge to get great pictures these days!)

Our Doctor & Lobster. (When we were picking out a Halloween costume for Davis, Nolan had lots of input. Nolan's old pumpkin costume was too small for our Heavy D! Nolan didn't want him to be a spider, too scary. Or a ghost, too scary also. So we decided on a lobster. Nolan wanted to be a doctor like his Aunt Meg! (He's such a sweet boy.)

Davis with his friend Benjamin Ratke. Benjamin is a big boy too. (22 pounds at 5 months)

Tubes

Davis is doing really well. He had tube surgery earlier this week. It was much harder for mom and dad. Here are a few pictures at the hospital before the procedure was done. He was so happy and smiley for 6:30 am. So far he is happier than before if that's possible. We hope the ear infections are gone for good! (Sorry the pictures are from my iPhone camera.)

Yes he loves his pacifier.

Pumpkin Harvest

Here are a few pictures from our pumpkin harvest at Grandma & Grandpa Firek's house. The boys had a great time and the pumpkins were huge!

Mr. Pumpkin

Nolan named his pumpkin man Mr. Pumpkin. He made him with Mamae. He has a tie (like dad) and a mustache. We are loving the beautiful fall weather. Nolan likes to shake his stick arm and say "Nice to meet you Mr. Pumpkin!"

Swimming

Davis & Nolan are swimming. Nolan is loving the water and not a bit afraid. He is swimming on his back really well, jumping off the side and starting to swim underwater while holding his breath. Davis is enjoying the water for the first time. We have swimming on Tuesday nights. The boys are in different classes and dad gets in the water most of the time with both of them!

Nolan's First Hunt!

Nolan and dad had a great night...hunting together! Here are a few pictures. Nolan's favorite part was getting his face painted. He sat quietly and still, enjoyed eating his snacks and used dad's rangefinder to spot squirrels. No deer on this hunt, but great memories.

Stting patiently waiting...he was awesome!
