Happy Birthday Muggy
We had a pizza party for Muggy's 80th Birthday!!! It was tons of fun with our family and great food. TJ, Meggan, and I made 12 different pizzas. We made 3 types of crust, with lots of great toppings. Muggy, you are the "Queen" of the family. We love having you so close all winter. We look forward to great times ahead. Happy Birthday Muggy we wish you many many more! (Nolan calls Muggy "Muddy")

2011 here we come!!!
Happy New Year! (Yup I'm a few weeks behind, but I'm catching up!)
We are looking forward to a wonderful 2011. We have lots to be thankful for and to look forward to! We are trying to enjoy one day at a time with the boys. They will soon be 1 & 3. How time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were on our honeymoon. The boys are both happy, healthy, and FULL of life and energy. We don't have much down time around our house these days. Nolan is still the big boss but Davis is close behind. Some days I feel like a referee.
(Also for the New Year we are going to use this blog to post pictures, thoughts, adventures, family outings, and some food ideas/recipes.)
We had some close friends over for a small New Year's Eve party/ sleepover. Nolan was so excited to have his two friends spend the night. They all started the night sleeping in Nolan's bedroom but by 3:00 am, McKenna and Grace we sleeping with their parents. So maybe they aren't ready for sleepover quite yet. Here are a few pictures of the kids before bed time.

Mommy, me so sad...
Nolan really wanted hockey skates for Christmas. Here is our conversation on Christmas morning after all the presents were opened from Santa and from mom and dad.
Nolan: "Mommy, me so sad"
Mom: "Why Buddy it's Christmas, we have so much to be happy about"
Nolan: "Mommy, ho ho (Santa) forgot to bring me hockey skates" (With his bottom lip quivering and his eyes are starting to tear up) "Will you take me to the store to buy some"
Mom: "Buddy it's OK, maybe Santa brought the skates to someone else's house"
Nolan: "Who mommy?"
We were having our family over for a Christmas dinner. Little did Nolan know but more TJ bought him hockey skates for Christmas. Nolan pretends to skate around the house in his socks all day like more TJ! Thanks for the skates TJ. Nolan loves them. Nolan has been out skating on a lake twice. Good thing we bought guards for them since he wears the skates in the house often!

Christmas...
What a busy time of the year! Christmas was a huge success with our little ones. We were busy with family gatherings, cookies making, and fun!

Happy Boy
Davis James...is happy, content, full of life, Mr. Giggles, round, and jolly. As all parents say, their children are such a joy. Davis is just that an absolute joy. He sits in his crib in the morning smiling waiting to get out and smiles at me at night as I lay him in his crib. Here are a few recent pictures.

We were lucky enough to have Annette, Meg, & Theron home for 10 days! Here are a few pictures of the little ones.
Davis you are as cute as a little girl! Netty thanks for letting him borrow your pj's. We had an unexpected sleep over at Mamae & Papa D's because we were out of power. We had nothing with us...but we made due with what we had! (Nolan likes to call him Daisy with Annette's pj's on!)
